Invisalign

If you straight-up want a straighter smile, Invisalign may be right for you!

At Premier Dental Care, we’re continually amazed by how much progress has been made in the world of teeth straightening. Invisalign is a visually unobtrusive alternative to traditional metal braces. By using their clear, “invisible,” aligners, your teeth gradually move into a position optimal for a straighter smile.

HOW DOES INVISALIGN WORK?

At Premier Dental Care, one of our trained Invisalign doctors will evaluate your smile and create a plan The plan will show how many different aligners you will wear and when they need to be changed out for the next set. Invisalign aligners can be made from the molds and images of your teeth.

HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO WEAR INVISALIGN?

The aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Each set is usually worn for about 2 weeks before changing to the next step up. As for how long the overall treatment plan takes, it can vary. The average treatment period is 12-18 months but may be shorter or longer depending on your unique needs. When the doctor creates your plan, they will be able to tell you about how long the overall plan will take.

HOW UNCOMFORTABLE ARE INVISALIGN ALIGNERS?

Invisalign is a much gentler process than braces and generally far less painful. However, most patients report an initial discomfort when they start wearing the aligners. This discomfort is usually a slight feeling of pressure, and it’s a perfectly normal sign that the aligners are moving your teeth into place. As you get used to the pressure, the discomfort will fade after a couple of days. The longer you wear your aligners, the more comfortable they will feel, to the point that you forget you’re even wearing them.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF INVISALIGN IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Anyone who wants to fix a crooked smile should consider Invisalign, be it for medical or cosmetic reasons. Braces can feel like a daunting commitment, especially if you’ve had them in the past and don’t want to go through the process all over again. If you want straight teeth and a beautiful smile, Invisalign is a great choice.

While not all orthodontic issues can be fixed by Invisalign, most can be. The best way to know if Invisalign is right for you or your child is to schedule a consultation with our orthodontist. You will never know if you or your child is right for Invisalign unless you go in for a consultation. Chances are Invisalign will be able to correct whatever issues that would otherwise require braces.

"I have always loved my experience at Premier Dental Care. First off, the space is lovely and serene like--almost like a spa! All of the staff is wonderful and takes their time talking to you and explaining everything. In addition, Dr. Hassanein is amazing with kids. I have a 2 and 6 year old who have been seeing her and love her--and her treasure chest of goodies at the end! I highly recommend Premier Dental."

"I had a great first visit to Premier, even though I was extremely late due to taking public transportation in a snow storm, everyone at the office was super welcoming and understanding. I was the last patient in the office and I didn't feel rushed at all. They definitely are professionals. The interior decor and equipment was the nicest I've ever seen in an office and the expertise of everyone in the office was remarkable. They spent time with me explaining procedures and even walked me through the costs of said procedures, how much was covered by my insurance, etc. which I truly appreciated. I had a great experience which says alot because I have a ton of dental anxiety. I was referred there by my sister and would recommend them to family and friends! Thank you!"

"I am very happy with my dentist, Jinous Hussanein. She cares about preventive dentistry, which has kept my teeth in good stead into my late sixties. Her office staff is both pleasant, friendly and efficient and her assistants and hygienist are first rate. I would highly recommend the Doctor and her excellent staff to anyone seeking dental care."

"I had the hygenist Lynne this past Saturday for my cleaning. She was personable but also extremely thorough, and I think she will help me keep my teeth the healthiest they can be. She took more time to explain to me how I can stop some of the decay in my teeth, and that some of it is probably genetic or caused by stress and things like that. So she was great! The gentleman at the front desk was good at his job but regarding billing and payments, etc. I also had initially made the hygienist appointment with one of the other hygienists and was told that I should have let them know last time. The hygienist I saw previously was the one who put this appointment in the system. If the hygienist makes the appointment for someone, it seems to make sense that you would get the same hygienist. It gives more consistency in the care of your teeth. I have a lot of issues in my mouth or things that may get mentioned to me if I get someone new Maybe if a hygienist puts in an appointment, it should automatically be listed in their schedule rather than in a general schedule. Lynne did make my appointment and I hope I can keep that one next time."
